My Take On Frederic Malle Fragrance
I love the sillage of these fragrances. Many of them have a strong to enormous sillage. A few are on the weaker side like French Lover and En Passant.
The longevity is also impressive. Most of them last eight hours or longer. Some have lasted through a wash. However, not all of them are that strong. French Lover, Lipstick Rose, and En Passant will last about six hours, which is still a long time.
Despite the sillage and longevity, I’d rank the fragrances from “overpriced” to “ok” for the value. A 30ml spray costs around $200, $270 for 50ml and $395 for 100ml. Compared to most fragrances, even luxury brands cost less, so this price point isn’t exactly the greatest.
The bottle designs are underwhelming too. They are unique because other brands don’t have this style or shape. However, they’re all the same. They resemble potion bottles, and all of them have a black label with clear glass to see the product inside. I love how Frederic Malle openly credits the creator of the fragrance on the label.
