If you’re looking for a new signature scent, you may want to consider Chloé Eau de Parfum. I fell in love with the feminine, floral fragrance when I tried it. Read my review to find out why.
When I think of Chloé, I think of the subtlety and the discretion that goes with high elegance. It all begins with the colors that the brand use in their perfume bottles, they are smooth and gentle.
You see in life, the ultimate goal isn’t to be recognized for what you have, but rather for what your actions and presence represent. Like the bottle, you don’t need to be “too much” to stand out.
The delicate pink lace around the house’s signature bottle is like a necklace around your neck, giving the glass flacon a sophisticated feel, appearing like a piece of jewelry.
It seems like the pale pink lace wants to evoke the timeless rose – the heart note – giving this perfume a very flowery character. Most of Chloé’s perfumes have several flowers in their composition.
For me, perfume tells a story. A fragrance is more than just a smell. It represents a lifestyle. Usually, this way of living emerges from the beginning days of a brand where the founder integrated all his beliefs and the way he saw the world.
One aspect that I find fascinating is that the first Chloé fashion show occurred in Café de Flore, in Paris. This tells a lot about the brand and how they want to be perceived.
The tenderness of the rose is masterfully blended with pink peony, freesia, and lychee aromas, the top notes of this perfume. It gives the sensation of a subtle yet juicy freshness.
Base notes have a velvety elegance, brought to life by cedar, amber, and honey.
Although it has honey and lychee among its composition, it’s not a sweet perfume, and that is a big differentiator factor nowadays, in the midst of so many sugary scents.
Those who only use sweet perfumes may not enjoy it so much, but for those who like florals, like me, especially with roses, it is an exceptional option.
The perfume should be used sparingly as the projection is strong, not bombastic, but people around feel it and always give compliments.
The scent lasts for a long time. Even after hours, I feel it projecting with every move I make. Since it is strong, I use it in a moderate way and like that it can be used in any temperature and environment.
I feel I can wear it in both spring and summer seasons as well as on autumn and winter days. Since the perfume has a bit of powdery touch, giving just enough warmth, without, however, overpowering the freshness of the flowers.
The fragrance is feminine in a non-traditional way. Although I feel that is not for young girls. The scent seems more for younger ladies as it reminds me of femininity and innocence while showing a hint of refinement and maturity.
But, in general, everyone can wear it. It is a good perfume for layering those flashy fragrances when you don’t want too much sweetness. You won’t be overwhelmed by any one of them due to that soft dry-down and smooth notes.
This is a perfume that I return to from time to time. When I’m in doubt about wearing which perfume, I know that Chloé is the right choice for any occasion. It is wearable day and night, on special occasions, or every day for work.
For those who search for a fresh, floral perfume with the right balance this Chloé Eau de Parfum is definitely your perfume of choice.
While evoking an aura of cleanness and sophistication, the perfume also embodies liberty and free spirit.
Since this scent is timeless, it will also make a perfect gift for someone you love or cherish as well.
For me, Chloé really has its own appeal, and for that reason won my heart and became one of my all-time favorites, without a doubt.
